| Tourism In Belgium
Each year, Belgium receives about 6.7 million tourists, mostly from neighboring countries (France, Germany, Netherlands and Great Britain), representing a total turnover of 10 billion dollars (2% of national GDP).
The ease of access, the density of public transport and proximity to tourist sites make Belgium a popular destination for European holidaymakers. Most of the tourism industry is based at the coast or in the Ardennes. Brussels and the Flemish cities Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent each year attract thousands of tourists |
